What began as a simple addition for our Cottage Living project quickly revealed deeper challenges—thin 2"x4" sleeper walls that could not support insulation or new windows, compromised plumbing, and a failing foundation.
Recognizing the limitations, we paused with the homeowner to reimagine the possibilities. Together, we chose to rebuild from the ground up, transforming obstacles into opportunity. The result is a graceful, entirely new home that honors the warmth and charm of cottage living while delivering modern comfort and enduring quality.
